Eight settings, and what each one is for

Work it in this order.

Hit the foam brush with high-pressure rinse for five seconds before it touches your paint. We rinse them on every walkthrough. Rinse it again anyway.

  1. 01

    Presoak

Let it sit thirty seconds. It does more than pressure does.

  2. 02

    Tire & engine cleaner

Before the body, so the run-off rinses away.

  3. 03

    High-pressure soap

Top to bottom. Gravity is free.

  4. 04

    Triple foam

    Three-colour conditioning foam.

  5. 05

    Foaming conditioner

    Softens what the soap loosened.

  6. 06

    Foam brush

Rinse it first. See the note below.

  7. 07

    High-pressure rinse

Sheet the soap off before it dries.

  8. 08

    Wax

    Gloss and beading.

  9. 09

    Ceramic wax

The same top layer the Splendore gets.

  10. 10

    Spot-free rinse

Deionized. Finish on this or it dries spotted.

About the self-serve bays

How does the pricing work?

$3.00 starts the bay and gives you 3 minutes, then $1.00 a minute.

What can I wash in here?

Full-size and dually pickups, work vans, box trucks, single-axle trailers, lifted trucks, ladder racks, campers, canvas tops, motorcycles, mowers and quads. If a tunnel will not take it, this is where it goes.

When are the air dryers coming?

Soon. Until then the drying bay is a pull-through so you can towel down without holding up a wash bay.

Is the foam brush safe on paint?

Rinse it on high pressure for five seconds before it touches the car. That clears whatever the last driver left in the bristles. We rinse them on every walkthrough; you should rinse them again.

What is spot-free rinse and do I need it?

Deionized water with the minerals stripped out, so the car can air-dry without spotting. Always finish on it. It is the difference between a washed car and a car with water marks all over it.

Can I bring my own soap and mitt?

Plenty of people do — they use the bay for the pressure and the rinse and do the contact work themselves. That is fine.

How do I pay?

Cash, card, tap, chip, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

What if the bay does not work?

Call the number posted in the bay. If it took your money and did not deliver, we refund it.
